IASL Statement against racism, prejudice, and discrimination

The International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) denounces racism, prejudice, and discrimination in any form.

IASL supports equitable access to education, literacy, information, and other necessities of life, as outlined in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

IASL reaffirms the IFLA/UNESCO School Library Manifesto and United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

IASL will continue striving to establish and develop school librarianship in every country of the world for the benefit of all children and communities.
